As you will see from the information on this
web site, our names are Darren & Louise. We live in a traditional Lincolnshire Victorian Farm House with our children
Olivia and Charlie, surrounded by hundreds of acres of pasture land and woodland. Sandbeck Farm is set in our own 60 acres of fields and paddocks where our ponies are free to roam and our
friends and family love visiting us here on the Farm. In
2005 having spent a long time looking for a place to settle and having met our now very good friends and mentors Selwyn
and Janette Cheadle, we were inspired by their Stud in Derbyshire. So much so we decided to establish our own Miniature
Shetland Stud, The now Sandbeck Stud. In addition
to our ponies we have many other four and two legged friends, including over 100 sheep (Swale Dales and Jacobs), our
very own retired trap pony, Taffy believed to be a least 30 years of age. We have five dogs, four being rescue dogs
and now very good guard dogs, Fizz, Jake, Bella and Archie, our house dog Daisy and about 30 rescued Battery Chickens.
Two cats Fozzie and Summer, since moving to Sandbeck Farm Fozzie decided to set up home in one of our stables and
now keeps a watchful eye on our foaling Mares. We
also have many resident Peakcocks, Barn Owls and Tawny Owls and many other rare species of birds and grass land. We love
living at Sandbeck Farm and feel very privileged to own and experience our life in the countryside.
