As you will see from the home page, our names are Darren & Louise. We live
in a traditional Lincolnshire Victorian Farm House with our children Olivia and Charlie, surrounded by hundreds of acres
of pasture land and woodland.
Sandbeck Farm is set in its own 60 acres
of fields and paddocks where our ponies are free to roam, our friends and family love visiting us here on the Farm. In 2005 having spent a long time looking for a place to settle and
viewing many farm's along the way, we were inspired to establish our own miniature and standard Shetland Stud, The
now Sandbeck Stud.
In
addition to our ponies we have many other four and two legged friends, including over 100 sheep (Swale Dales and Jacobs),
our retired trap pony Taffy believed to be a least 30 years of age, Olivia has her very own 12hh Pony called George and
Darren has his own horse called Rupert which they love to hack out, we have five dogs, four being rescue dogs and now very
good guard dogs, Fizz, Jake, Bella and Archie, our house dog Daisy, 30 rescued Battery Chickens, our cat Summer and since
moving to Sandbeck Farm Summer decided to set up home in one of our stables and now keeps a watchful eye on our foaling Mares.
We also have many resident birds including
Peacocks, Ducks, Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, Swallows and many other rare species of birds and grass land. We love living
at Sandbeck Farm and feel very privileged to own and experience our life in the countryside.
